We hired her, sent a contract, confirmed a start date...and she never showed up on her first day. Called, texted, no answer. We heard from her hours later, with a very sketchy explanation. She had seemed wonderful and had excellent reviews from her references. Hugely disappointing, and she left us completely stuck without childcare.
