About Vanessa

I have always loved taking care of children. I did a four year preschool program in high school. I did many baby-sitting jobs while in high school for different families, sometimes watching 5 kids at a time, ages ranging from under 1 to 5 years old. After high school, I continued those baby-sitting jobs for awhile. Then switched to doing nanny jobs for a couple families. An important experience was through my friend. I was there for both of her births and continued to help care for her children years later. I also worked in a preschool for 3 years, where I cared for a variety of age groups. My main room was the newly 1-year-old room. A family I became close with because their oldest was special needs and I had him more than a year, asked me to be their nanny. I also had their little girl in my 1-year-old room and then they had a baby on the way. I said yes! I was with them for 10+ years. I also did a ton around the house and outside to keep everything running smoothly.
