About Vanessa

Hello! My name is Vanessa and I am a passionate caregiver with over 5+ years of experience nurturing and teaching children of all ages. My love of working with children stemmed from my work as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) and work as a Substitute Teacher. I recently graduated with my B. A in Communicative Disorders with an option in Speech Language Pathology. My goal is to serve families who may need services in the speech/behavior to positively impact their growth and development. I approach childcare with a holistic perspective, ensuring that children's emotional, physical, and intellectual needs are met. I have experience caring for children from infancy through pre-adolescence and am comfortable enforcing household rules while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere. I also lean toward Montessori's organic teaching style which includes outdoor/physical games, board games, and educational games that do not involve technology.
