About Vanessa

Hi there! My name is Vanessa, but most kids call me "Nessa." I'm 27 years old and have a passion for working with children of all ages and abilities. My experience includes nannying, babysitting, working in a daycare setting, and serving as a substitute teacher for Polk County Schools. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I support children with developmental and behavioral needs through individualized, compassionate care. This role has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to create positive, supportive environments for children to learn and grow. I originally pursued studies in Elementary Education and discovered that I thrive in more personalized settings where I can build meaningful connections with children and families. I enjoy arts and crafts, learning through play, and helping children feel safe, supported, and confident. I look forward to connecting with your family and would be happy to answer any questions!
