About Vanessah

Hi! My name is Vanessah and I am a nanny and tutor. In May 2023, I graduated from Colorado College with a B. A. in environmental science. I am currently pursuing my MA in Teaching at the same institution. I have intermediate Spanish fluency and speak basic Portuguese. Tutoring: I student-teach 7th grade science at North Middle School, and provide tutoring from kindergarten to 8th grade. Subjects I can assist with include: reading and writing, science, math and algebra, and Spanish. Nannying: I have worked as a nanny for almost 9 years, but since my mother was a nanny, I often joke that I've been in childcare since before I was born. I usually nanny kids ages newborn to 8 y/o. Recently, I have been watching kiddos I bottle fed graduate from second grade! I believe in tenderness, empathy, and radical support for all children.
