Hi! My name is Vanessa and I am an experienced nanny and babysitter from Oakland, CA and planning to move to NYC. I was a mother's helper in middle school and began babysitting around the age of 13. I babysat at least twice a month through all of high school, usually kids aged 2 to 6. I nannied in Summer 2020, 40 hours a week for three boys ages 7-9. We frequently went on walks, to parks, and sometimes drove to places around the Bay Area. I then nannied summer of 2021 as well for two kids ages 8 and 12. I drove the kids to and from activities, did laundry and prepared food. I also have experience as a math, Spanish and English tutor and am glad to help with school work!

Vanessa cared for our two kids, ages 9 and 12, in the afternoons over the summer. She picked them up from school or camp, drove them to activities/play dates, managed them doing their chores, and hung out with them at home until we were done with the work day. She is amazing - dependable, flexible, and completely unflappable. The kids adore her, and she always kept them entertained and having fun. I would often hear giggle-fests and squeals of laughter from my kids while I was working in my home office. She really played with the kids, whether it was endless rounds of Exploding Kittens, or water gun fights. We wish she could have stayed with us past the summer, but she's heading back to college.
