Hi families! I am excited to connect with you. A little about me - I attended Penn State University and graduated in 2021 with a BA in Integrative Arts. While there I enjoyed babysitting and spent a summer as a part time nanny. It's some of the best memories I have from my time in State College and ones I hope I never forget. After pursuing a marketing career for a couple years, I decided to switch paths and take on a full-time nanny position. Being a full-time nanny ended up being a great fit for me and I stayed with the family long term until I had my own child. I now open up my schedule to part-time nanny jobs that allow me to bring my daughter along and occasional evening/weekend babysitting as well. Through years of nannying and babysitting a wide variety of ages, and now raising my own daughter, I have learned about child development, how to connect with different children, and meet their unique needs. Vanessa is warm, kind, proactive, and responsible. She was simultaneously open to my feedback while having great instincts and comfortable and skilled at working independently. She is extremely conscientious and reliable, and was equally good with my then-three year old as my 11-year old twins, forming relationships with each that last to this day. Two years later, my younger daughter still asks about her and misses her.
