I am a retired teacher who loves to work with children of all ages. I specialize in teaching reading and writing. I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help students at their level. I am able to create personalized lesson plans. I'm looking for a job that has flexible hours and is maybe even available remotely. I'm very experienced of providing academic assistance via online platforms. I started tutoring when I had the opportunity to help a special education student after school. This blossomed into a second job where I worked with multiple students every evening after my main teaching duties. My skills include the ability to simplify subjects in a way that children can understand them, to patiently explaining concepts as many times as is needed, and to create personalized lesson plans.
