About Vanessa

My name is Vanessa and I'm a recent Biochemistry graduate from Occidental College. I've been nannying and babysitting for several years and have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to preteens. I come from a big family, so I've spent much of my life helping care for my younger cousins, and that's where my love for working with kids really began. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, CPR/First Aid certified, and I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in math, English, and Spanish. Families describe me as patient, dependable, and energetic. I love planning fun activities, helping with homework, spending time outdoors, and creating a safe, caring environment where children feel comfortable and supported. While I do not have a car, I'm happy to walk or use public transportation and am comfortable commuting throughout the city.
