About Vanessa

Hello! I'm currently looking to offer care for any families looking for occasional/last minute care. I recently graduated from NOVA and am a certified and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant. I have 15 years of experience in caring for children as a nanny/babysitter/church child care attendant. I am comfortable and experienced in caring for multiple children at once, twin experience, children or adults diagnosed with autism, down syndrome, ADHD, bipolar disorder, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities and dementia. I am fully vaccinated including boosters for COVID, flu, TDAP and up-to-date on CPR and AED certifications for both children and adults. I enjoy reading books, arts and crafts, playing with legos/magna tiles, movies, video games and going on walks or to the park. I completed my internship in a school based setting and am comfortable with working on handwriting skills, fine motor, executive functioning, organization or sensory based activities.
