About Valerie

As a caregiver, I like to preserve the dignity of the clients. Working one-on-one to improve and/or continue daily life skills is my specialty. Mostly, I will assist the client with daily needs to include: feeding, bathing, clothing, driving, shopping. I am very compassionate with clients. I have worked with clients in assisted living, and home environments. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Sometimes, I have read to clients which keeps them focused on the present details of life. At other times, I have walked with clients to give them a sense of recreation or physical activity. Finally, I talk with the client to help them engage in communication, so as to have a social life. Clients are very important to our society because they have contributed to their families, careers, and communities as productive citizens.
