Hi, I'm Valerie! I'm originally from California, but moved to New York City almost two years ago! I was first introduced to the world of naps and feeding schedules when my niece was born in 2018. After she lived with me during COVID, I started nannying as I felt qualified enough to work with babies and toddlers. I've been working with children ever since! I have a big family (10+ nieces and nephews), so I'm used to the joy and chaos babies and kiddos bring. In New York, I've worked long term with 3 different families, while also baby-sitting here and there for others.

Valerie was an awesome nanny! We had her take care of our baby pretty much full time for several weeks and she was great. She started when my daughter was just 5 weeks old, and she was experienced and helpful with all aspects of baby care, including calming a baby, diaper changes, playtime, going on walks, supporting a feeding schedule, and keeping a clean and organized space. She was also great with our toddler, 3 years old, who is pretty high energy and whimsical. She is respectful, prompt, easy to communicate with, and generally a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her for kids of all ages! A great choice.
