About Valerie

I am passionate about helping children learn concepts to help them in their academic pursuits. I earned my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Grambling State University. I recently completed my Masters of Business Administration. I have listed my Substitute Teaching experience from Monroe, Louisiana and have volunteered at churches. My Substitute experience at Monroe, LA City Schools Board was from August 2017 through February 2018. I worked with Special Education Self-Contained and Inclusion Teachers - Berg Jones Lane Elementary. For the following schools in Monroe, LA I worked in kindergarten and first through seventh grade classrooms at Clark Elementary, Carver Elementary, Lee Jr High, Minnie Ruffin Elementary, Shelling Elementary, Sallie Humble Elementary, Alternative School, Barkdull Faulk Elementary. I have junior high level experience from Carroll Jr. High and Martin Luther King Jr. High schools. I have also volunteered at as a Children's Church teacher.
