About Valerie

Hello. I'm Valerie and mom to 3 fantastic kids. My kids are 17, 15, &11. I've been a substitute teacher at Kimberly School District for the past 6 years. I was asked to teach special education at Sunrise Elementary last school year from Feb-May due to an unexpected opening. I have numerous references from teachers and friends. Everybody that knows me knows how much I love children. I've had many people suggest I do full time child care vs teaching because I have such passion for kids. Babies included!! Currently, I'm employed as a full time para-professional at Sunrise Elementary in Kimberly School District for students with special needs. I'm off during the summer but my position will resume at end of August so my availability is for the summer only. We have furry family members at my house so I'm very comfortable with animals.
