About Valerie

I received an associates degree in early childhood development then worked 12 years in preschools in New York, Massachusetts, and Indiana before starting my own family. I stayed home and raised our two children until they were in middle and high school. Then I went back to teaching for seven years in our local school corporation for the developmental preschool program. I spent last year working with a resource team in a Lee County elementary school in Cape Coral. I have always enjoyed working with young children. I love watching them grow and learn through play and hands on fun. In a world that is very busy, I believe children need a chance to be children. We all know they will grow up all too soon. I would like to help a family by providing in home care so their children can be children in the environment of their own home.
