With 28 years of hands-on caregiving experience, I specialize in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals with dementia and those nearing the end of life. I am certified in end-of-life care and have developed a deep understanding of the unique needs that come with these conditions, including managing cognitive decline, offering emotional support, and ensuring dignity and comfort during life's final stages. I have spent much of my career caring for seniors and individuals with memory-related challenges, offering companionship, structured routines, and a calming presence that helps manage the complexities of dementia. My approach is patient, empathetic, and focused on creating a safe, reassuring environment for both clients and their families. In addition to dementia care, my certification in end-of-life care has prepared me to provide respectful and compassionate support to clients and their loved ones during difficult transitions.

To Whom It May Concern, It is with the highest praise that I recommend Valerie E as a home care aide. She was with my husband when he died from Early Onset Parkinson’s 9/19/24. She was kind and caring to my husband in the final stages of his transition. She made sure he was comfortable. Ms. E also had to manage dealing with a family in deep grief. She had to notify our family who had gone back to sleep at midnight that he was close to passing. She woke us so we could be with our family patriarch as he took his last breath. She was there when the hospice nurse declared my husband deceased and stayed with us until the mortuary picked up the body. I can not express how grateful our family is for her caring and sensitivity at this difficult time. Ms. E even wrote a kind and loving not to our daughter L who was extremely traumatized by her fathers untimely death. She will go down in the history of our family as a person who played an important role in the timeline of our family. Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information.
