About Valerie

I'm a very bright, warm, and caring person looking for a part-time senior care position! I've worked in healthcare since I was 16 and have four years of experience working in nursing homes and caring for older adults. I'm comfortable helping with everyday needs and making sure the people I care for feel comfortable, safe, and supported. I'm currently a college student and really enjoy caring for others. I understand that sometimes the little things, like having someone to talk to, helping around the house, preparing something to eat, or simply having some company can make a big difference. I'm very good with directions and routines, and I like to make sure things are done the way each person and their family prefers. I'm patient, dependable, and comfortable helping with daily activities while still respecting each person's independence and personal preferences.
