I also worked at a summer camp for 5 years with children with special needs. I love being outside and going on adventures. Valerie was great with my children and my children liked her very much. Valerie unfortunately quit her childcare job with us the night before she was supposed to work and left me completely stranded for childcare. She communicated it "wasn't worth the money" despite us paying her the hourly rate she requested. Valerie knows that I'm a therapist and her actions resulted in me having to cancel my caseload of clients. It was an unfortunate, irresponsible, and immature end to her childcare obligation with our family.
