I am versed in providing intimate, hands-on healthcare to residents whom reside at an assisted living center. These tasks consist of the following: Assisting with bathing, dressing and basic activities of life. Answering resident's calls in a timely manner. Taking residents' temperature, blood pressure and other vital signs. Documenting residents' health issues and reporting said finds to the nurse. Assisting to and from the bathroom/use of the bed pan, versed in assisting in Foley catheter and ostemy bags. Escorting to and from meals/meal trays. Ability to use the hoyer lift for residents whom are a two person assist. Dressing and removing ted hose. Being compassionate with strong decision-making skills. An excellent listener with an attention to detail. Dependable with good ethical standards. Ability to maintain interpersonal relationships while excelling at problem-solving skills.
