About Valerie

I'm an experienced childcare provider with four years of experience caring for children of all ages. I just graduated college with a degree in biomedical engineering and plan on babysitting until I find a job in my field. I love working with kids and I believe in creating a positive and safe environment where children can thrive. I'm patient, creative, and I am always down to play whatever games a child would want to play. I was a camp counselor for 4 years and babysat through high school, so I have experience in this/ I'm comfortable following the parents' lead in enforcing household rules and communicating with them about their child's day or any issues that arise. As a biomedical engineer I took a lot of classes nursing students had to take. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and have experience with children ages 4-5, 6-11, and 12+. I'm confident I can provide exceptional care for your children.
