About Valeria

Hello, my name is Valeria! I am a social worker and currently work as a Rutgers Student Advisor. I have a passion for teaching! I have experience as a behavior intervention specialist in grades 6-12 at a local school. For the last decade, I have been a mentor, a tutor, a caregiver at various daycare centers, a babysitter, and a counselor for children of various ages. I enjoy working with children and hope to open a practice one day. In the meantime, my favorite things to do are arts and crafts, school preparation, and helping little ones with ADHD and other neurodivergent needs become confident in their organizational skills and in their strengths!
