About Valentina

Hello there! My name is Valentina. I am currently a 6th grade teacher at Bayside and now that the school year is ending I am looking for opportunities available in my community to be a caregiver, babysitter, pet sitter, and anything else you may need. I was also an au pair for a family in Beijing, China. For 6 months, I created an amazing bond with J, a 4-year-old boy who I taught English and he picked it up so well. We spent our time reading, playing games, singing, drawing, and being outside. I was with him everyday and we grew very close. I cooked, cleaned, and took him to school. Kids are a sponge and they are at the age where they can absorb so much. I love teaching languages. My parents are deaf so I grew up using sign language and love teaching it. Sometimes it's easier for many toddlers to communicate through sign as well. I'm compassionate, caring, patient, and enthusiastic. I look forward to meeting your family!
