I'm an outgoing, fun, and adventurous childcare provider with six years of experience. I've worked as a preschool teacher, an infant caregiver, and a nanny. I understand the financial burden of daycare and the importance of providing a nurturing environment for children. I love watching children grow and thrive and have a passion for helping and nurturing little ones. I believe in open communication with parents and will work with them to develop a communication plan that works for everyone. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and will do so in a way that is respectful of both the children and the parents. I'm open to playing any games that the children want to play, and I'm always up for an adventure. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR and have completed coursework in Early Child Development. Valencia is such a sweetheart and my kiddos have adored her since my oldest was in 3rd grade and my youngest was 3 years old (over 5 years ago). At the time, Valencia worked in the aftercare program at my daughter’s school. I desperately needed a sitter but was terrified to select someone I didn’t know. I was thrilled when Valencia said she could assist with my afterschool and weekend needs. I felt comfortable given the gentleness and professionalism she consistently displayed with the children in the aftercare program. It was no different when she came to my home. Valencia was always punctual and attentive during her time with my two children. My oldest is now 13. Valencia was the first paid caregiver to ever stay with my kiddos. And, as of today, there has only been one other paid caregiver for my children besides Valencia, which speaks volumes. She remains my preferred caregiver. I’m sure she will become yours too!
