About Urszula

I was born in Poland as the eldest of six siblings, which taught me empathy and the importance of caring for others. I completed my college education in Poland and then moved to Chicago to continue my studies. I worked with children and seniors, helping them have better lives. As a caregiver, I assisted with ADLs, including hygiene and exercise, managed bed-to-chair transfers, operated the Hoyer lift, and used a feeding tube. I monitored patient schedules, including doctors' appointments, medication schedules, and family visits. I am an experienced housekeeper and cook. I provided round-the-clock care for Alzheimer's and hospice patients. I enjoy engaging clients in various activities, such as exercising, playing games, doing art projects, singing, or reading. To become a better caregiver, I take online or in-person classes in caregiving. In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, kayaking, and knitting. My caregiving journey has allowed me to meet wonderful people!
