About Uriah

I'd describe my personality as relaxed, inquisitive, and open. I like working with kids because they're usually more honest about their motivations, and I love their sometimes rather eccentric views on reality. I come from a large family with seven kids. Some are biological siblings, some adopted, and some just entering middle school. I've been negotiating with, rationalizing to, and educating children off and on my entire life. In my spare time, I like to workout, hike, identify plants, garden, and enjoy fantasy fiction novels. One thing you should know about me is I have ADHD and have learned a lot of cognitive and behavioral techniques for managing issues related to focus and communication. My skills include training in multiple approaches to different learning styles, a strong background in education, and enduring patience.
