About Ty
Experience: 10 yrs
Hi, I'm Ty! I am a certified infant, toddler, preschool and Pre - K teacher. I have experience with school age children, 5-12-year-olds as well. I have about 10 years of professional experience in the child care field. I am also comfortable and have experience with home schooling for elementary school. I have experience with ABA therapy as well and am happy to be with children on the spectrum or any other special needs. I am passionate about child development and learning through fun and play. Sports and arts & crafts are my favorite things to do. I enjoy cooking, doing science experiments and exploring nature as well. Meals and snacks are no problem either, I'm actually a trained chef too. It's also important to me to make sure the whole family feels supported. I will do what I can to make life smoother. I love working with, teaching and spending time with the kiddos. I hope I can spread some support and love to your family. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
Most recent review
Ty was originally just our back up nanny but she continuously impressed us with how great she was with our kids. We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old that just adore her. After our previous nanny left us we did not hesitate to ask Ty to be our regular nanny. She really knows her stuff about child development and education. She always did projects with them and played little games with them. We ended up moving across the country so we only had Ty for about 8 months. Would rehire for sure!!
