About Tyler

I have Bachelor's degrees in economics and accounting with a minor in business administration. I studied abroad in Brazil and became conversationally fluent in Portuguese. I am able to tutor via video call and in person. In the past, I have helped students go from D to A grades. I am excited about learning and knowledge and am excited to help students find success and gain confidence in their abilities. I'd describe my personality as creative, patient, and passionate. I like tutoring because I like learning and tutoring gives me an opportunity to share the joy of learning with others. In my spare time, I like to play board games, video games, and Dungeons & Dragons. My skills include creative ways to approach problems, flexibility with learning styles, and helping students learn to come to the answer on their own with confidence.
