About Ty

Before pursuing nursing, I worked as a PCT at St. David's Medical Center, where I provided compassionate care to a wide range of patients, with a particular focus on supporting elderly individuals. In this role, I assisted with activities of daily living, monitored patient needs, and collaborated with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Following my experience in healthcare, I spent two years living in Italy and two years living in Australia, working in childcare. These experiences allowed me to care for children of various ages while developing strong communication, adaptability, and cultural awareness skills. Living abroad broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. I am now completing nursing school and will graduate within the next week. My combined experiences in healthcare, childcare, and international living have reinforced my passion for serving others with compassion, patience, and professionalism.
