About Tye

I'd describe my personality as whimsical, high-spirited, and empathetic. I like working with kids because they still believe in the magic all around us. I'm looking for a job that creates meaningful connections. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I taught gymnastics camps in the summer, and English to Spanish-speaking middle school students. Most recently, I worked for a youth orchestra teaching music, including private lessons. In my spare time, I play violin, paint, read, draw, work with clay, work in my garden, and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is that I have ADHD and particularly want to work with neurodiverse families. My skills include providing fun educational opportunities, listening deeply to kids and take them seriously, and adapting to unexpected circumstances.
