Twana has been our nanny for the past two years and has played such an important role with our family! When she began, our kids were 12 weeks and 2 years old and are now 2 and 3.5 years old. Our youngest had colic with specific dietary restrictions, and Twana worked through these challenges without hesitation. She is very knowledgeable with infant care which helped our youngest’s development. She is extremely reliable, communicative, and accommodating with our schedule. She cares for the kids at home, takes them on outings (parks, nature center, etc), preps meals, as well as transports them to and from preschool. We are very grateful for her time with our family!

I hired Twana to help watch my 6 month old. She was on time and helped out last minute.She was very aware of the developmental needs for infants. I would hire her again.

Twana is a babysitter for our 11 month old. Her positive energy drew us all in, and our daughter warmed up to her very well.

She was on time for each time she babysat for us. She played and read to our baby each time. We feel good about leaving our daughter with Twana for date nights and will continue to call her when we go out.

In total, Twana spent 3 yrs with our family (caring for my children since they were babies until started daycare at 2yrs and 15mths) and has performed diligently throughout her tenure.  One of her greatest strengths is her flexibility. While most of her time was structured around a schedule, there were times when deviations were necessary (sick kids, special activities, etc). During these times of flux, she would always assess the situation and volunteer to help in anyway she could.  Additionally, she was very observant of the children - approaching us if something seemed off or unusual w/the kids - or if there was just something she wanted us to monitor. 
Finally, i never had to worry a/b whether she would be at work or how late she might be- as she was very punctual. With ATL traffic, having a punctual childcare provider is a gem.
Overall, Twana is trustworthy, punctual, reliable, and seems to have genuine enjoyment in working with and taking care of infants. 

Twana possesses many traits that are important in a nanny: patient, high-energy, observant, compassionate, knowledgeable, and resourceful.  She also possesses traits that we didn't even realize were so important in a nanny: grateful, open-minded, conscientious, very willing to teach (and share her knowledge), and punctual.  She was very good about pointing out the items we need to work on with our daughter - such as how she was not using one arm as much during tummy time, how to adjust her positioning so she was really using tummy time as an effective exercise and making sure we practiced feeding her from a bottle on weekends.

Twana is just a strong, positive force for good!  She always looked at the bright side of everything.  She went above and beyond - you can tell she truly cares for her charges.  She was also not afraid to say she doesn't know something, but she also knew how to research and implement changes that would help out my baby and me.  

Twana came to our home for her initial interview.  She arrived early and prepared to bond with our daughter.  Immediately, our daughter warmed up to Twana as if she already knew her.  Twana then came to our home on two occasions to babysit.  She was on time and followed our schedule to the letter.  When she had questions, she didn't hesitate to contact us to insure that she provided the best care possible.  In short, Twana is a professional and an excellent caregiver.

From the beginning I was impressed. Twana's communication, professionalism, and timeliness is outstanding. Just when I thought she couldn't top that, she arrived with a huge smile on her face eager to learn about my son and me. She has a great personality, and she knew how to ease into introducing herself to my 15 month old. On top of THAT, she stayed on his schedule, texted me when she had questions, and gave told me how the day went in detail. She's definitely a pro, and she has a beautiful spirit (children know!) She made sure that my son stayed busy with reading, playing outside, and other activities...just like daycare. I was so impressed. She really wanted to know his personality and make sure he had a great experience with her. We love her, and we can't wait to use her services again. She is highly recommended.

Twana was a great fit for our 10 month old daughter. She arrived with more than enough time to meet her and learn where everything is in our house that she may need. Twana lives a healthy lifestyle and loves the outdoors. I left our stroller and they went on a long walk and spent time at our neighborhood park. We can't wait to use Twana again - we highly recommend her.

Twana came to work for me for one day.  Despite her saying on her profile that she is comfortable with pets, she is clearly not.  She began right away making disparaging remarks about my pets (the possibility that they might jump on her or touch her or get hair on her) and the condition of my home as a place where pets are welcome.  She also stated that she had left other jobs because their homes were not "sterile" enough for her.  She left my INDOOR dogs outside the entire time, and even left the house with them still outside.  Despite saying that she was experienced with special needs children, she clearly did not have any idea how to deal with a child on the autism spectrum.  Her rigidity and intolerance led to my son having a meltdown in the short time she was with him. This was extremely upsetting, as this had not occurred in several months prior to her being with him.   Twana caused me inconvenience by having to stop at the bank on the way home because she would only accept cash, and I felt extremely ill at ease the entire four hours I was gone to a business training.  Twana may be experienced with babies and young children, but I would never let her be with your school-aged children.  Also, if your house is not "sterile", be prepared for some extremely rude feedback.

It is rare that you meet a nanny that has a great connection with your children, Twana has excellent experience. She connected immediately with our children. She worked with our family on a Saturday assignment. She is warm and caring. Her knowledge regarding healthy eating is awesome. I would encourage anyone seeking a nanny since Twana is the woman you need! I pray for nothing but blessings in her life going forward!

Twana is a wonderful caregiver! She recently worked with our family, on last minute sitter request. We all felt extremely comfortable with her, even my 10 month old baby! Twana is an extremely reliable and caring babysitter. I would recommend her, without a doubt.

Twana recently watched my three children on very short notice, literally within hours of my request. She was kind, considerate, and trustworthy. When the baby was resisting bedtime, she contacted us before implementing a new strategy. As a bonus, she even gave us advice on the best route to take in order to reach the concert venue which we were attending. She seemed to genuinely care about our family, parents included! Most importantly, my children asked if she could babysit for them again soon as they thoroughly enjoyed her company. We recommend her wholeheartedly.

It is hard to leave your child for the first time, especially when you have no family living locally. Finding a wonderful caregiver like Twana has made this much easier. She is very responsive, both on the phone and email and has been available last-minute. Each time she has come to take care of my daughter she is very punctual and professional. She has a great positive attitude and spirit and my 3 month-old is always happy after she has spent time with Twana. She has a lot of experience with child care of all ages and was able to provide excellent references. I would highly recommend her!

Twana is our nanny that takes care of our 6 month old son. She is delightful and you can tell that he really enjoys her. They play together, sing, dance. She's great at keeping him entertained, and herself in the process! Twana is able to roll with the punches--and there are a lot given how often our 6 month old is changing his needs and routine. She offers suggestions to my husband and I relating to his care--including his routine, his eating habits, his hygiene and activities. We really appreciate Twana's straightforward communication style, and her openness to new ideas/approaches with our son. She's pleasant to be around, and is very tidy--she often cleans up the house tidier than I left it for her. At times when my son is asleep, Twana will clean bottles and do laundry. We're so happy to have her!

Twana is very down to earth and easy to talk to. She was on time, available at the last minute, and very polite. I appreciated her being upfront about what it will take for us to be a good fit for a longer term part time nanny relationship. Twana has done her research and is eager to develop a professional and solid reputation in the nanny community.  

Twana watched my girls for the afternoon and they both really enjoyed playing with her. I am confident that she would be a safe, reliable, and fun caregiver for my girls. My only complaint is that she was so fun to talk to that I chatted more than I worked!  Twana will definitely be on my list of people to call when I need help and I would recommend her to others.

Not only was Twana the first to be reply to my add, but she was able to get to me quickly when I got a last minute invite to girls' night. She was awesome with my daughter, great to talk to, and she even tidied the place up very nicely. Lastly, I love that she is playful and energetic; I didn't have to worry about my night owl tiring Twana out.

Twana worked for me the day before Christmas Eve on short notice, and she was the consummate professional. She called to confirm, arrived early, was thoughtful, understanding and flexible to our needs that day. My son really enjoyed her, even though they only spent a day together. I feel like they got a good rhythm down in the course of just one day. I would hire her in a skinny minute for anything, and highly recommend her.

Update: We used Twana for a second-time this holiday season, and it was a joy to bring her back. She is so observant and thoughtful, she noticed my son was favoring his right arm, so suggested we focus on getting him to use his left arm more during playtime. She arrived early, and fell right into a routine like she'd been here for years. I will always use Twana for my occasional babysitting needs!

Twana worked with me over a period of several years and helped with both of my children. She was wonderful with the children and a tremendous support to me. We still enjoy seeing her!
