I'm 24 years old, I'm currently a caregiver who is looking after a 80-year-old woman as a night caregiver. I like caring for seniors because being a caregiver is a challenging and rewarding job. It requires a lot of patience, compassion, and dedication. As a caregiver, my day starts in the afternoon where I would come in and release the caregiver who was walking the morning shift. I would prepare dinner by making sure I follow the clients dietary requirements, I always try make they would nutritious and appetising, help with bath time and assist with brushing teeth. Then help with taking blood pressure and giving them medication. Would also help the clients with moving around because she a hip replacement, also by getting her in and out of bed by using an anc throughout the night. Would also assist with being able to use the bathroom.
