About Troy

Hi there! My name is Troy (she/her) and welcome to my care profile! I'm a PhD student at San Diego State studying conservation ecology- I work in an Estuary! Famously, students don't make a lot of money and so I am looking for a part time job to help get me through the last two years of my program. I naturally looked into nanny, babysitting and afterschool care positions given my experience in child care and youth education. I love working with kids and know the crucial role that a little extra help from a nanny/babysitter can provide for children's overall wellbeing. I am enthusiastic about getting kids outdoors so in addition to helping out with the necessary duties, I would be thrilled to play a role in a kid developing a relationship with nature. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule but I would prefer to work late afternoons/evenings/weekends. If any of this sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to chat!
