About Tristin

I am a part time college student, and part time substitute teacher. I love and lean on crafts, imaginative play, and reading to engage with kiddos. My hours are flexible and I am more than comfortable with providing homework help as well! I'd describe my personality as energetic, playful, and adaptable. I like working with kids because they make me laugh! Ironically, I've met many more comedians aged 2-12 than 18+. I'm looking for a job that is comfortable with communication and is flexibile. I pick up substituting jobs spontaneously as they become available, so each week looks different for me. I started working with kids when I became a camp counselor in high school. I then found a love for teaching, and I have been a substitute for the past year while working towards my certification! In my spare time, I like to paint, read, or bake. One thing you should know about me is that I love to be silly and have a laugh, but I truly value mutual respect, manners, and responsibility.
