About Trene

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my primary goal. With my years of experience in general education and special education classrooms, as well as over 20 years of raising and supporting my own three children and a graduate degree, I foster an engaging, patient environment where learning feels achievable. I tailor my methods by observing how the student interacts with new material, utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and practice problems to suit their unique style. When concepts become challenging, I connect them to their personal interests and break complex tasks into manageable steps to build momentum. I believe clear, consistent communication with both the student and their parents is essential to building the trust necessary for academic success. Nothing is more rewarding than watching their confidence grow as they master new skills. I look forward to supporting your students journey and celebrating every milestone we achieve together.
