About Tracy

I am an empty-Nester, having raised 5 children on a farm. I now have 12 grandchildren, unfortunately they all live far away. I was a Sunday school superintendent, group leader, foster parent, Developing Capable Young People leader, and teacher's aid in private school. I also home-schooled my children for a number of years. I am a very creative and active person and have a huge variety of interests. My passion was being a stay-at-home mom and all that it entailed. I love interacting with children. I see every moment as a teaching opportunity. I included my children in everything we did. We worked together and played together. I believe it is our job to teach a child "life", so that when they transition into adulthood, they will do it with ease, success, and joy. I love pets and animals and can care for everything but spiders and snakes. ;) I was a foster parent for a number of years, so I am very familiar with behavioral and adoption issues. My boy/girl twins were adopted at 8.

Tracy is AMAZING! There's really nothing else to say. Our son always looks forward to her coming and misses her when she leaves. She is patient, kind, understanding, fun and gentle all while taking the time to interact with our son and teach him things. After having two bad experiences with previous caregivers, we hope that Tracy never leaves us.
