I stayed with a 96-year-old mobile Alzheimer/stroke patient for two weeks while her family was on vacation. I cooked and cleaned. I helped bathe her, set her hair and trimmed her fingernails and toenails. I was responsible for her safety and well being. I provided her with her daily medications. I took her to doctor appointments. I enjoyed my time with this lady, talking with her, watching t. v., and keeping her company. It was around the clock care for two weeks. I also stayed overnight several times with an Alzheimer/dementia aunt, keeping her company. I know this isn't providing many experiences, however I look forward to meeting new people and welcome the opportunity to help others. Thank you. Update I cared for another Alzheimer patient seeing to all of her medication, nourishment, hygiene, and social needs, I presently have been caring for a stroke patient.
