About Tracie

I have worked as a private tutor for an assortment of children with a variety of needs. This includes experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and children with attention difficulties and learning disabilities. I have a BS in Psychology with emphasis on child development. I have done work in specialized teaching strategies and learning. I am skilled in creative approaches to learning and eager to gain new and exciting methods of teaching. I have been a tutor at all stages of reading and comprehension. I am skilled in providing instruction in this area and adapting materials as needed for each student. I am encouraged as children learn and make progress in a direct tutoring environment. I have tutored at learning centers in addition to homes and schools.
