About Tracey

I owned my own daycare for seven years. After my own children went to school I worked as a Language Arts Educational Assistant for the last four years. My job was eliminated in June 2011 due to board of education cuts. I have two great kids, daughter who is 17, and a son who is 12. I have a wonderful husband who is a software engineer as well as two cats, Max and Mindy, who I consider to be my "other children". I have come to love working with kids as I find it rewarding when the "lightbulb" turns on because of something new they have learned. I had worked in the corporate world before having my own children, but immediately decided that was not the life for me once I had children of my own. I love making a difference in the life of other children whose parents don't have the same opportunity of leaving a demanding job to spend more time with them. Children find me fun, engaging and easy to be around. I'm currently looking for something only part time so I'm around my own children more as my daughter gears up for college this year and my son is in his first year of the STEM Academy. I am flexible and will work with you within the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. everyday.
