About Torrie

I've always found myself drawn to the curious, open, fun loving nature of children. I spent two years studying Early Childhood Education at a Community College, gaining a certificate in ECE. During my time as a student I nannied for a family in Bellingham who had two children, a 3-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl (ages when I started). Through my schooling I was required to do an internship at a preschool, this experience lead to me being hired on as a teacher. I quickly learned that that I prefer working with smaller groups of children because this allows for more personal relationships to grow. I've also spent time working for a company called Bellingham Nanny Connection. For the past few years I've been working as a caregiver for adults with a wide range of disabilities.
