I have been a babysitter/nanny since I was a teenager. I am a mother of 5 grown children. I LOVE caring for children. Since I like to keep active I don't sit around watching TV with your kids all day. Some of the things I like to do with the kids I watch are: go for walks, go to the park ( I run and play right along with the kids), story-time at the Library, read to them, visit the pool or beach (if allowed), visit local farms (pumpkin patch), hiking trails, zoo etc... I interact with the children in my care continually by talking about what we are doing and where we are going which is part of the process of learning for them. When I am in your home I clean up any messes we make while I am there. Other chores up for discussion include: laundry, loading & unloading dishwasher, errands... I have cared for several families through Care. com in the past 7 years all of whom I still watch either regularly or occasionally.

We were very blessed to have met Toni through care.com. She has watched my daughter for the last year, starting when she was about 3mos. She cares for our daughter in much the same way I'm sure she has cared for her own kids. She is responsible, kind, and always teaching our daughter new skills. She makes the day interesting and fun and you can tell she truly adores the kids she cares for. I would highly recommend Toni to any family!
