About Tonekins

I'd describe my personality as fun, nurturing, attentive. I like working with kids because they are our future and it's amazing to be a part of their growth. I'm looking for a job that is consistent, reliable, safe and family oriented. I have over 8 years working with children from ages 2-18 and their families. I love what I do! In my spare time, I like to read, write, enjoy the outdoors, visit my local libraries, eat at new restaurants, travel and find new things to do in NYC. One thing you should know about me is I am a great addition to any family. I love people and I treat everyone how I would like to be treated. I'm easy to get along with and will go above and beyond for anyone in my care. My patience is very admiring. I'm also very calm with children. Kids enjoy my company because I can be silly yet nurturing at the same time. I also have great management skills. I've worked in classrooms for over 6 years.
