About Tommy

I've always worked with kids. I've been a swimming instructor for ages 2 and up for 8 years. I have also been a substitute teacher and paraprofessional for elementary schools & middle schools. As a paraprofessional, I help out kids with disabilities and special needs. I have my CPR and First Aid certificates. I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, responsible & flexible. I like working with kids because they motivate me to be a better person. Helping children and their families is the most rewarding job I can think of. I'm looking for a job that is close to home. I'm new to Long Island. I started working with kids when I was 18. In my spare time, I like to stay active; go to the gym or play sports. I love to play soccer and basketball. Sometimes I play video games as well. One thing you should know about me is that I am a very responsible person therefore communication is very important to me. My skills include communication skills, problem solving, and creativity.
