About Tobi

I am a certified Adolescent English teacher and certified teacher of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing. I can tutor students in middle school and high school level ELA as well as students who are below grade level and need help with literacy. I have experience with students who are d/Deaf or hard-of-hearing, students with ADHD, and students with learning disabilities or delays in reading. Additionally, I have a background in German language as well as art. I'd describe my personality as friendly, curious, and practical. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping students reach their full potential and develop a love of learning. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, play games, and take care of my cat, plants, and ant farm. I am patient, flexible, and have a deep understanding of the content matter.
