About Tina

When I had my first child I could not bear to go back to work. I became a licensed childcare provider and enjoyed the opportunity of caring for my children and several others for many years. I jumped at the opportunity to open a large center in Dover, NH caring for up 120 families and employing 22 teachers and staff. After 10 years the building we were in was sold and we had to move. I went back to providing preschool and care for 12 children and 1 staff member as a licensed family group program for another 20 years. It has been an amazing opportunity filled with love and laughter. We provided Brain gym movement, circle time, center time including art, science, math, language and history. The focus was to encourage emotional, social, physical, academic and creative growth and community responsibility. My center was named The Joyful Garden and we ran a school garden to table program with amazing edible and flower gardens. After 38 years we sold our home and moved to Maine.
