It is my pleasure to recommend Tina, who cared for my father, Volker, for six months, from before he entered hospice through the final days of his life in September 2026. My father was a strong-willed German man who did not always see eye to eye with people, and he was not an easy person to win over. Tina understood him. She knew how to relate to him, how to help him without taking away his dignity, and over time she became a true friend to him. That relationship made a real difference in the quality of his last months. Tina went well beyond her required duties. My father kept birds outside that meant a great deal to him, and when he could no longer care for them himself, she took over feeding them every day. She also helped him plant and water a small terrace garden, which gave him something to enjoy and look forward to. These may seem like small things, but they mattered deeply to him, and Tina recognized that. Because I was not able to be there in person, Tina kept me informed every day about how he was doing. She also regularly set up WhatsApp video calls so that my father could stay connected with me and our family. I am very grateful for those moments. Tina has a strong knowledge of medications and worked closely and effectively with the hospice nurses, which gave me confidence that my father's care was being managed well. In his final stage, when he needed care around the clock, she made sure he was kept clean and comfortable, and she repositioned him regularly to protect his skin and prevent bedsores. She handled this demanding work with patience, skill, and compassion. Tina was with my father when he passed, holding his hand and comforting him. Knowing that he was not alone, and that he was with someone who cared about him, means more to me than I can express. Tina is a hard worker who truly cares about her patients and the relationships that come with caregiving. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family whose elderly parent needs extra help, companionship, or hospice and end-of-life care. She offers not only skilled care but also the comfort of someone who is genuinely present, and that is invaluable.
