About Timothy

I'd describe my personality as positive, artistic, kind I like working with kids because their imaginations are alive! I've taught creative writing to kids of all ages (including college undergrads) and find their curious and inquisitive spirits a joy to interact with and guide! I'm looking for a job that provides part-time stability and a way to see the world from new perspectives. I started working with kids when I began babysitting through college to pay tuition--doing arts and crafts with them made me realize how much I wanted to teach, which is what I do now! In my spare time, I like to read, write poetry, play basketball, paint, go on long walks, cook, swim, and make books. I also play guitar and bass, and try to do that as often as possible! One thing you should know about me is that I have a slight stutter (hoping to attend SLP graduate school in the next two years). My skills include cooking, creative exploration, and nurturing a calm environment for the kids.
