About Timothy

Hi! My name is Tim B., and I'm a writer, editor and tutor from New York. I have a graduate degree in creative writing from Eugene Lang College at The New School and have been writing professionally for 15 years. I have published three books and my work has been featured in Newsweek, TV Guide, CBS Sports, Thrillist and numerous other publications. I am available to work with students on essays, test prep, literature, grammar, American and European history, and beginner and intermediate Italian. I have particularly extensive experience with college application essays, research papers and AP/regents prep. I'd describe my personality as easygoing, observant and creative I like tutoring because I have a passion for the written word in all its forms and I enjoy passing a spark of that passion to others, whether it's their own writing, a piece of classic literature or a story from a history book.
