Tigist is an excellent caregiver. My elder Father with dementia dementia lived with my brother, and Dad had her care 5 days/wk for the final year of his life.with her delightful sense of humor and management ability ,she could often cajole Dad into bathing, taking, walks and engaging in mentally stimulating activity when other could not. She provided Dad with many types of personal care, did a lot of cooking (great skill there!),did household chores, accompanied us on medical appointments and did everything. She could to keep Dad comfortable and safe.conversation on video and phone were particularly important for Dad’s well -being and his family, and Tigist facilitated those daily calls with multiple families members most of us faraway.she texted her concerns and sometimes surprised us with poignant photos and videos.Tigist appreciated Dad’s intelligence and sense of humor. and she was unfailingly compassionate, respectful, and affectionate with us all.
