I have worked as a nanny and provided childcare for various families throughout my life. My longest position was for a wonderful family in Connecticut where I served as a full-time live-in nanny for almost 5 years for a total of three children, two of which I lived with. Their ages have ranged from newborn to 5 years old. After moving, I then worked part time for about two years for a family providing 10-15 hours of childcare each week for their newborn and preschool age child. I enjoy working with children and being outside, and value providing a joyful and peaceful atmosphere where children feel safe. I currently have a flexible self-employed schedule. I have a reliable car, safe driving record, and own my home. I am currently looking to provide part-time child care. My education includes a 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Christian Education for Children.

Tiffany has worked for me and my family for over 4 years as a live-in nanny. There are not enough words available to fully convey just how much we valued and trusted her with the care of our two children (now 18 mo and 5 years old). If not for Tiffany deciding to move back to Maine, we could easily have imagined her working for us for years to come. Tiffany moved in to our house on the same day we moved in after we made a cross country move to start our new jobs. From the day we met, we have found her to be a very warm, personable, pleasant, flexible, reliable and patient person. Her ability to connect with our children, be consistent with our parenting style, and help maintain the household has been remarkable. I can honestly say I don't think of her as an employee because she seems more like family to us than anything else. Tiffany has taken on many challenges while living with us and caring for our children. In particular, after one of our children was diagnosed with special needs, she did not hesitate to take on the duties necessary to help supervise the intensive therapy he required from many specialists, learn the special one-on-one techniques that need to be used in order to help him succeed, and have the patience to deal with the ups and downs that can go along with caring for such a child. He has made tremendous progress, and we attribute much of this to Tiffany's skill and dedication to our family. Everyday she demonstrates such a calm demeanor and level of maturity that is unmatched. I can unequivocally say I would recommend Tiffany to any family who is looking for someone to fill their child care needs. We have been so fortunate to have had her as "part of our family".
