About Tiana

My credentials, which qualify me for this position, include a master's degree in Special Education, a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy Leadership Division School K-12 Reading Specialist (2020), a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and five (5) years of Special Education instruction in the Washington, DC area. My greatest asset is the ability to facilitate and inspire students with various learning styles. I accomplish this by developing multi-sensory lessons that address auditory, sensory and kinesthetic learners. I also incorporate learning centers, manipulative, group work and thematic units in concepts and materials to ensure that each child receives individualized instruction according to their needs.
